Congratulations to MBN Youth Division Alumni Lucas Washburn and Braylon Eggerding who won the MLF National College Championship at Lake Toho, Florida this past Thursday. Both Eggerding and Washburn competed in our Youth Division in their High School career as a team and have continued together at Adrian College. They also won our MBN College State Championship this past July. It was a great time in Florida and together with a lot of parents and teammates we watched with our fingers crossed for an Adrian College / MBN Alumni win.
In our Youth Division we have a motto – “Where the BEST Compete" and our goal is preparing our members for the next level in life and if they wish competitive bass fishing. Washburn and Eggerding are Champions on the water and humble off and exemplify what our Youth Division strives for and why we put so much emphasis for competing anglers to speak for themselves.
Witnessing the pride that the entire Adrian College team shared was something that will be hard to forget. Congratulations to the School, Team, and Coach Borton and Coach Taylor!!!!
