IMPORTANT UPDATE - Team Trail Qualifying - MUST READ

21 Jun by info@michiganbassnation.com

Youth Nation –

In order to qualify 2 teams from each Saturday and Sunday Trail for 2026 Nationals, we need 50 unique Teams/100 unique Anglers to compete in at least 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday trail this season.   To date we are at about 45 unique teams / 90 unique anglers.

What does this mean? Unless we meet or break the 50/100 threshold of participation, we will only be able to qualify 1 team from each trail. Below is the breakdown as mandated by National BASS.

Teams– 25, Members – 50, Berths =1 – This is where we are at now.

Teams – 50, Members -100, Berths 2 – This is where we need to get.

Teams 150, Members – 300, Berth 3.

In the past 7 years we have not failed to qualify less than 4 teams as a result of our Trail participation.

Collective Ask – We need every possible MBN Youth Member that has not competed in at least 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday trail tournament to do so over the next 2 trail weekends. We have Lake St. Clair coming up and Higgins Lake. Preferably we accomplish this on the Lake St. Clair weekend.

Qualifying berths are not something MBN controls, it is totally controlled by National BASS.
