Michigan's BEST HS and JR Anglers- On fire!!!

16 Aug by info@michiganbassnation.com

Day 1 is in the books here in Boyne City at the MBN HS/JR State Championship — and the action has been nothing short of electric!
In the High School Division, Luke Hendrick and Sullivan Mohlman brought the hammer with a 24.05-pound bag to take the top spot. But they can’t breathe easy — Brady LeMarbe and Easton Momrik are right there with 23.53, and Luke Barriger and Nick McLaughlin kept the heat on with 23.21. Just behind, Jack Sickinger and Eli DeWaard posted 19.30, and Carson Tithof and Maverick Hardebeck closed out the Top 5 with 17.94.
Meanwhile, over in the Junior Division, it’s Ethan Hillis and Hudson Shabro setting the pace with 14.87 pounds, while Grayson Spagnuolo and Cash Wyman are hanging tough in second at 10.49.
And now, all eyes turn to tomorrow. Day 2 promises to be an all-out slugfest. Anglers will be rolling the dice — deciding where to go, how far to run, and when to gamble big — because only one team will hoist the trophy and punch their ticket to the 2026 HS/JR B.A.S.S. National Championship!
Boyne City, buckle up — the fight for the championship is just heating up!
Full Day 1 Results are posted at www.weighbook.com. We apologize that we were not available to broadcast on FBLive today, but will try again tomorrow!
