ANYONE DRIVING THE BOAT in any of our sanctioned tournaments.
Driving the boat includes launching and recover at the ramp regardless if you are operating the main engine or trolling motor.MBN advises ALL MEMBERS to take a boaters safety class and get your certification – visit this link

If you have any question pertaining to MBN – contact Bret Straffon (Adult/College), Kevin Carr, YouthThere is a cost associated with the certification. MBN knows of no “free classes” at this time. If you already have a boaters safety certificated (from any State), please keep a copy of the certificate on your person. If you took Boater Safety in Michigan and cannot find your certificate you can go here and get a replacement – follow the instructions:
