Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation (MBN) is proud to announce the appointment of Kevin and Heather Carr as the new Youth Directors for the organization.

Kevin and Heather bring a strong passion for youth fishing and a deep commitment to growing the next generation of anglers across Michigan. Their leadership and organizational experience will play a key role in continuing to expand the MBN Youth Program — including the Junior and High School divisions — while creating more opportunities for young anglers to learn, compete, and succeed at the state and national levels.

“Kevin and Heather both stepped up and stepped in this past season when we needed it most and both have been tremendous supporters of youth fishing,” said Bret Straffon, MBN President. “Their enthusiasm, experience, and dedication to the sport make them the perfect team to guide the Michigan B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Program into the future.”

The Carrs will begin their new roles immediately, to plan the 2026 season, improve and enhance communication, and continue building on the strong foundation that defines the MBN Youth – Where the BEST Compete.
